BMI Healthcare reports "difficult trading year"
Netcare, the owner of UKs BMI Healthcare, has reported in The Times that it is has written off £811 million off the book value of its UK hospitals and clinics.
Richard Friedland Netcare CEO, said in The Times article that the “the number of British people with private medical insurance was at its lowest for two decades.”
Stephen Collier BMI Healthcare CEO said “it had been a solid performance despite recessionary pressures, reduced public confidence and continued uncertainty arising from the implementation of reforms to the NHS”
