Bupa MD steps down

 

 

 

Dr Natalie-Jane Macdonald, managing director of Bupa Health and Wellbeing UK, is leaving Bupa after almost 17 years with the private medical insurance (PMI) provider.

In a statement, Bupa said Dr Macdonald is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

Stuart Fletcher, CEO of Bupa, said:  “Natalie-Jane has championed Bupa's ambition to improve the quality, value article412868and access to private healthcare in the UK, and has led provider reform on behalf of our customers. She has made a very significant contribution to Bupa over many years. 

“Natalie-Jane has been a great ambassador for our company and its purpose. We thank her for her commitment to Bupa and we wish her the very best for the future.”

In a separate development Bupa has announced that it is to split its UK Health and Wellbeing division into two new business units: Health Funding and Health Clinics.
